The best color trends for Fall 2018:

Fall colors emulate the changing colors of the leaves and nature. Along with the rich hues of autumn, Fall marks a shift toward more neutral tones as colors fade away from the outdoors and give way to the grays and creams of winter. So, When you think of fall, we think of lots of dark colors and plaid. Lately, We have been seeing more muted tones of burnt orange for this time of the year. This trend is very popular and every one on social media is raving about it. The color stands out on everyone and is great for a fall go to look.

Fall Trends:

With Fall nearly here, you're probably ready to get out your favorite sweaters, jeans, and suede jackets. If your closet is in need of a style revamp, just look all over instagram at the bloggers. All of the season's biggest trends are not only stylish and fashion-forward but super flattering and easy to pull off, too. Trends like cheetah, corduroy, and plaid are the biggest trends yet to the fall.

Travel Fashion Trend: Joggers

From bike shorts to fanny packs to chunky sneakers, there's barely an athleisure trend we haven't liked or at least tried once. They're all the definition of practical and comfortable and yet they  add a bit of boldness. And though these laid-back trends tend to get all the love in the summer, there are some pieces that are less obvious for the season. We're talking about sweatpants. Over the last couple of years, fashion trends are leaning more towards comfort, simple and easy to wear clothing. They focus on low key pieces that can be dressed down or up. Now we can wear trendy clothing that makes sense for travel. Wouldn't you love to leave your house and not worry how sweatpants look coming from strangers. They are tapered and more fitted at the ankle, which make it more ok to wear out and about. These are the perfect travel piece of clothing because they are comfy and breathable.

 Summer Must Haves.

Spring cleaning means room for summer shopping. Now that we've put are old sweater away, add some life back into your closet with some of the top summer fashion trends. The first trend on my list are vintage style sunnies. We love our oversized sunglasses,  but the return of retro style has us holding them back. The second trend on my list our prints. Last year it was the lemon print in style. This year its all about the polka dots and cherries. Sweeten your summer look by putting this playful pattern into your wardrobe. The last trend on my list are red nails. For years now, the trend has been fake long nails. This year its a simple red nail that goes with every outfit.

Fashion Inspired My Life.

I believe that fashion has inspired my life in so many different ways. But not only mine, but many others in the world. By the way it is idolize by many, the way it shows a sophisticated life style that so many want but so few can have,How a simple dress can make a girl who feels unnoticed feel so alive and on top of the world and show her that all eyes can be on her, and let her know that no one is any better than her all it takes is a little time. I want to be that person who designed the garments’ that make these people feel so alive so I can think of all the people I can help feel noticed that day. That will make all that hard work worth while. I want to know that with all my hard work, everyone can be fabulous and shine every minute of every day and let them know that you do not have to be perfect to look as beautiful as everyone else. Fashions has inspired my life, and make me get the urge to work harder than ever to get my dream and the dreams of many others fulfilled. people just think of fashion as something just for magazines and to let feel how ugly they are so they can be separated from the few that can pull it off they are the ones who dress like the rest and are not adventurous, the do not branch out and just give life a chance, but like Coco Chanel said “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.” So I believe that to be into fashion one must be fashion, live fashion, sleep fashion, feel fashion, see fashion because it is everywhere ,its not just on paper. And most of all one must be original.

Baby Blues.

Spring is on the horizon! You know what that means… new season, new wardrobe. Time to shed those bulky winter coats and layers of black and grey; embrace bursts of color, floral motifs, blue skies, and everything in bloom. This year designers are taking a nod from consumers as they continue to buy more colorful garments. As a result designers are showing more color in their collections which is a key takeaway for Spring 2018.

Leopard Print: Spring Trend

It wasn't too long ago that anything with a leopard print meant that it was stylish. From faux fur coats to silk button-downs to loafers, the slinky pattern covered everything we bought during that time. Leopard print is the secret weapon needed in every women’s closet. This print really makes the outfit blossom and looks great with almost everything. As of now, this print is loved more than ever and so should you because it is simply a must have when it comes to patterns.

Valentines Day obsession:

If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting all of January for the moment when it finally feels appropriate to set out that candy dish of conversation hearts and pull your favorite date night dress out of your closet. Yes, Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and it’s time to start making plans for the 14th! Whether you’re having a girls’ night out, doing date night, or indulging in a cozy night in, this holiday is not one to be missed. I like to celebrate by wearing red of course. Even if you do not celebrate I would reckon to dress up to make yourself feel good. Both of my shirts in the pictures above are from H&M.

A Letter To My Best Friend:

To My Soul Sister,
You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. You have never ceased to amaze me. You are always there when I need a shoulder to cry on or need someone to listen to me vent about whatever drama. You are so beautiful, even if you disagree. Your laugh is infectious, your eyes stunning, and your smile... wow.
Best friends are great. But if you are lucky enough, you will have that one friend that is closer to you than anyone. That one friend that gets you on the deepest of levels, even if they have only known you a week. You have found your soul sister. I am so lucky to call you my best friend. I Love You Lots Alexis.

Love, Lauren

Shoot For The Stars: Spring Trend

Flicking through all the runway shows of late, we are running into the cutest spring/summer 2017-2018 print trends evoking all those happy-go-lucky feelings within us. Lovey-dovey stars, hearts and butterflies have also made their way through fall 2017 runway shows many a times as well as other objects. Stars were huge though. They really made a splash and looked like childhood stickers pasted onto pants and all.

The Button Down Trend:

When it comes to this staple the sky’s the limit and the styles are infinite. Best button-down shirts this season to take you anywhere and save you from any style predicament are: the denim button-down, the white button-down, the animal print button-down, the black one, the blue one and maybe the plaid one if you will. A pair of ripped jeans, loose cutoffs and some gladiator sandals and you’re set for a chic style. Go to for smart trousers or pencil skirts for office outfits.

Backpack Trend:

Traditionally, backpacks have been viewed as a great accessory to match your casual outfits, and of course, this is still a very popular choice. leather and canvas bags are especially well suited to this style, and you have a choice of plain colors, sport-themed designs complete with logos, and eye-catching prints. The one above is from Francesca's and it was only 20$.

Spring Trend: Polka Dot

There are girls who wear polka dots, and then there are girls who dislike this print profoundly. I am of the latter. Rest assured though, as I’ll try to practice my in-biased trend report skills, while at the same time figure out why on earth I’m not a polka dot kind of girl.
I could begin by saying that I’m a grown woman. And polka dots are the exact opposite of grown ass anything, they’re the print our grandmas used to drape us in when we were 5, the print we used to go for at 12, so sticking to dotted clothes at 30 is like begging the world to take you seriously while you’re still in your pre-teen outfit.
You are free to tell me how wrong I am, and I urge you to do so in the comments section below. I am well aware I might have a weird issue here, and 60% of y’all would send me to therapy to get over my hate of polka dots. It’s not good to keep grudges.
And yes, if you must know I was draped in polka dots as a kid. That might have something to do with today’s dislike Or perhaps I’ve just consumed all my polka dots love in my pre -teen years. Amen to that, good ridden, and thank god.

Baker Boy Hat Trend:

I personally love the baker boy hat trend, aka Lieutenant hat, or cabby hat. It’s definitely fun to add a bit of variety to my fall wool hats I tend to gravitate towards. I love that it can be worn dressed down, or even just to spice up an outfit. I paired mine with a black fuzzy jacket. This trend is gradually coming into spring and summer. I am so glad because I love the different ways I can style this trend.
